Tell us your Bobby Jackson story

Bobby, Xavier, and Lisa-Jean at the Bhus'

Bobby was a warrior protecting Jazz, not so it would stay the same but so that it could grow. Knowing the music to be an expression of African American culture, Bobby used his gifts to elevate both the music and culture to its highest. His passing will leave a void in the Jazz community and for our family.

As we face this challenging time, we're doing our best to wrap our minds around the great big life of our beloved husband, father, brother, friend. Bobby lived life so fully, touching many people around the world. We appreciate the many prayers and messages of condolence that have been shared on Facebook and through email. Please help us by taking time to share a more personal story about Bobby.

These stories will not be published, but will be privately shared with his family and saved for our son, Xavier. My deepest wish is that I will be able to help Xavier through this time and continue his relationship with the many people that shaped Bobby's life.
